Blue Carbon

Blue Carbon has an ambitious plan to leverage the power of oceans to fight climate change and restore marine ecosystems. Their technology, DeepSea Capture, uses wave and solar power to deliver cold, nutrient-rich water to restore marine ecosystems, increase wild fish populations and sequester carbon dioxide.

The visual language depicts phytoplankton, a fascinating 'alien' world that lives in the oceans and is only visible through a microscope. It is via this phytoplankton that carbon is sequestered when they feed at the upper levels of the sea. After their lifecycle, they sink to the bottom of the ocean, effectively capturing carbon for up to 100 years.
